BREATH. SOUND. TRANSFORM.

The greatest gift you can gift yourself, is understanding your nervous system and how to work with it. The breath is the blueprint of everything that has happened to us in our lives, which has influenced our nervous system and the quickest way to harmonise with it, is by changing our breathing pattern.

We will use both the breath and sound to promote self-healing and raise the body’s vibration. Both deep, rhythmical breathing and sound have a direct impact on our emotional and mental well-being. Sessions are arranged around the music enabling the nervous system to regulate and sync with sound oscillations receiving the wonderful benefits of both.
The breath and our emotions are so closely linked, and the way that we breathe can often tell us a lot about how we are living our lives.

MIND. BODY. BREATH.

The mind, body, breath feedback loop. When the mind and body is agitated the breath will follow. When the breath is relaxed and calm, the mind and body will follow.

Many of us are living way too much in survival mode, which activates our sympathetic branch of our autonomic nervous system also known as the fight or flight response. Life comes with physical and emotional changes, short periods of stress are inevitable. However, when we are in the sympathetic nervous response for a prolonged period of time we move into a state of chronic stress or burn out, we might feel highly switched on, anxious and have trouble sleeping.

When we are in the sympathetic nervous response for a prolonged period of time we move into a state of chronic stress or burn out, we might feel highly stressed, anxious or like we are living on the edge. This is because we aren’t enabling the nervous system to down regulate, and move into the parasympathetic nervous response, which is the opposite branch, which is our rest and digest state. This response allows the body to do all the wonderful things that it needs to do such as eliminate toxins, repair and digest food efficiently.

The breath however, is the quickest and most effective way that we can down regulate our nervous system to enhance and transform one’s state of mind and body. The breath and emotions are a two way street and are so closely linked, the more awareness there is of how emotions change the breath the more you can then in turn change the breath to improve your physical and emotional state.
